Aloha from Hawaii Pond Boss Members. Just got word from my friend in Alabama that they put fish in my new pond the 19th of March. My pond is feed by a small year round clear stream. The bottom is almost solid slate rock. size is 3/4 surface acre. It was finished the end of December 2004. Water is clear.

They stocked it with 500 coppernose BG...100 redear (shellecracker)...50 channel cat's...and 1000 fathead minnows.

I'll be moving there the end of May this year. Would like some ideas as to any changes or additions when I arrive to the stocking numbers.

Also if I should wait til spring 2006 to add LMB or go for it this fall. I plan to do a little supplimenting by feeding...mainly for the catfish. I'm thinking of adding 50 more channels in the fall as we will actively thin the channels for food on a regular bases. Base and BG will also be eaten when they get some size but not as much as channels. How often should I increase the channel cats? should I do it twice a year or once a year?
