were managing a 1 acre pond for 15-23 inch bass what would cover do big bass prefer I thought you guys with every type of cover in their ponds could say which ones the big boys prefer

My big bass prefer Structure rather than Cover. I catch most of them on points that were carved into the shore of the pond. I also catch a lot near the cypress trees.

The link that Brett 295 posted has got to be one of the best for getting lots of ideas.

The best structure for big bass in my pond has been large rocks and the second best structure has been wood placed into the pond bottom with cement. The brush piles I placed I am sure have lots of good fish in them but fishing them is very difficult.

When James talks about fishing we all better listen..If you get to watch him fish you would think he should have his own fishing show
