Can anyone tell me how to get permanlty get rid of eurasian watermilfoil? I have a 4ft ring compeltly around my entire pond.

Phoebe, permanently is a pretty big word! The chemical Navigate does works well on milfoil, but is probably not a permanent solution.

A more permanent solution would be to completelty drain the pond, apply herbicides, let it dry out well and then refill the pond.

Can you post a picture of your Eurasian Watermilfoil? If I remember right there are some native types of milfoil that grow in WI that are not much of a nusiance.

Have to use fluridone for about 2-3 consecutive years to eliminate watermillfoil completely. Off the top of my head, i think you want to keep the fluridone at about 45 parts per billion for watermillfoil. That will kill everything in the first year, then the seeds will sprout the next year or two and will need to be killed as well.
