I have a two acre lmb lake in Missouri that had been neglected. I added 1000 bg and 350 res last fall for forage. Would adding gs be wise to diversify the forage base this spring? Or would they all just get eaten up before they could reproduce? If so how many to add?

If the 2 ac pond has some weed beds then shiners have a better chance for survival. No weed beds; then you are likely just feeding your bass. The fewer small bass the pond has the better chance of GSH and small fish survival. Most ponds have too many small (8"-14" bass). Most ponds need a significant annual bass harvest. Each year the bass produce to many small bass predators for a good balanced pond habitat.
