Pond Boss
Hi all,

A couple of summers ago, I was wondering if any of my stocked Brown Trout were alive with the very hot weather we were having, but I didn't want to fish for them since they are a pain to catch when the water is hot and are very sensitive. I decided to make a makeshift underwater camera setup with an umbrella base and an action camera mounted on it. I sunk it down and it actually captured a few fish swimming by. Just thought I share the video screenshot here (can't attach the video file). It didn't seem like a practical way of checking up on my fish, but it told me exactly what I needed to know. Has anyone else tried or thought of trying this?
