Not too many people stock BH so that is a fish that likely there are not a lot of established guidelines. PS is mostly in the northern states so people like me in Kansas and south have no experience so that lowers the number of people with experience to respond.

That is a pretty small pond to raise LMB. About 1/27th acre? You can raise LMB in that size pond but you are either going to have quite a few small ones or very few large ones. A pond that size will have limited carrying capacity and that capacity will be divided by the species introduced.

It would help if we knew the goals for your pond. Are you raising the fish for food or sport fishing? If you are looking to grow large LMB you are going to be able to only have a few.

Let us know what you are trying to accomplish and I think some of the experts (which I an not) may be able to better help.

How deep is it? Will you be using aeration? Feeding commercial fish food? All of these will affect the carrying capacity of the pond.

I recommend that you seek information about what is cultured locally. You might check if those species are also cultured here in the US by doing a search on "SRAC". They have very useful information on fish culture. You live near the Mediteranean Sea? That's not far from the Sea of Galilee which is where blue tilapia are native. They feed at a lower trophic level than bluegill and your pond would support a greater weight of them. If they are also cultured in your locale you could source them locally. In a pond that size you could easily grow 40 lbs of tilapia with supplemental feed and without aeration and maybe 20 lbs without feed. You would only need to stock 20 to 40 males each year and might be able to culture your replacements each year from an indoor culture set up.
