Hey all. A friend of mine has a 1/2 acre pond about 8' deep max. The pond has been there for years and has an established bass/bluegill/catfish population. He wants to stock crayfish. The pond is located in central MO. What would be the best type of crawfish species to stock and how many? I'm assuming ya'll would recommend he needs to add some chunk rock before stocking them? Thanks for the help!

Ok I have considered this as well but have read that some may do more damage than good.

What types of Crawfish should be used in ponds so they do not damage your dam?

The crawfish in the previous link that don't burrow/make tunnels would be fine.
