I have come across this site repeatedly in my research of pond related topics and am excited to finally become a member. Building a pond is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Now I can pass on a love of nature that my father taught me to my boys. I look forward to sharing this adventure and learning from others in the process. Glad you found the forum. Lots if information on ponds. Nothing better than spending time fishing, swimming or watching wildlife with family and friends @ or around the pond. Welcome.

Welcome this is a great place to learn about ponds. What is the trolling motor connected to the dock for?

In the Spring when algae was very dense and the water level was high, I used the trolling motor to “blow” the algae clear of the fishing dock so I could throw lures. I can also aerate the pond with it.
