I have come across this site repeatedly in my research of pond related topics and am excited to finally become a member. Building a pond is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Now I can pass on a love of nature that my father taught me to my boys. I look forward to sharing this adventure and learning from others in the process. Welcome this is a great place to learn about ponds. What is the trolling motor connected to the dock for?

In the Spring when algae was very dense and the water level was high, I used the trolling motor to “blow” the algae clear of the fishing dock so I could throw lures. I can also aerate the pond with it.
