New member! New pond! - 04/25/15 01:45 AM
Hey guys!
Brand new here, my name is Joe. Having my first pond I have ever owned being dug this week very excited! I grew up fishing my grandpa`s pond but never owned or managed my own. I live in NE Florida just north of Jacksonville. Hope to turn my new pond into my own private trophy bass lake. It is just over a acre, deepest part will be 20ft to allow spring water to keep it full with the average bottom being around 12-14ft. Most of the soil is grey sand and hard pan closer to the bottom. I cant wait to talk with some of yall and getting ideas and getting off on the right foot to my dream pond!
