Hey guys after searching the internet I am having a hard time finding pellet trained yellow perch. Does anyone have any suggestions for where they got there trained YP that is close to SE Wisconsin. I am not afraid of a drive but have to make sure the fish will make the drive home. Most of the places I talked to do not have pellet trained YP or know if the perch they are getting are going to be trained or not yet. I am looking to get them in there this spring. The kids keep asking about the fish and I am afraid they are going to turn on me and throw me in there.

Can't help you with a source, but most yp you get from a hatchery should be used to eating pellets. Something like LMB, SMB, WE would be species that you'd have to specifically seek out "feed trained". My YP were large (8-10") when I got them and readily took pellets.
I would first check Herman Brothers Pond management associated with Giant Goose Ranch in northern IL. They might be making a delivery near you and you could meet the truck or have them stop at your pond. Also as if they know where you could buy pellet trained perch.
