Is it possible to many fish might be adding to my algae problem? I know sounds like a dumb question.

Hey John no question is a dumb one. I have asked a lot of questions I thought were dumb and a lot of folks ended up wanting to know the same thing I asked.

I would say no to this but I am no expert. To many fish could add to an ammonia problem though and that's not good either. Algae comes from to much Phosphorus and a little bit too much Nitrogen in your water/soil, and I am sure some other things but I don't know what they are... Like I said no expert here but I cam almost for sure say not from your fish.

Now I am not sure but if you had a LOT of waste in your pond from your fish it could maybe cause algae..... So I may stand corrected, but it would have to be a lot I think. Let see what someone else may have to say.
