Hello.

I will make a tiny pond 20x20 feet for the Scuds, and bigger pond 50x50 feet just for Crayfish.

I will enlarge a pond where there are already Yellow perch to put Smallmouth bass.
Lots of fun.
A+

I have quite a bit of structure to build for my RES pond. Originally I was going to leave it fairly bare when RES and FHM were the only fish so there would not be much place to hide for the RES fry. But since I have now introduced SMB as a predator, I think there needs to be a more traditional amount of structure/cover in the one acre pond.

Get a house built by the pond. Get a pickup truck. Get some decent bermuda grass all around the pond and dam as soon as it gets warm. Add LMB in the spring. Start thinking about an aerator.

Once the house is finished, ATV, tractor, etc.

Think about doing a timber thinning.

Gonna be a fun and $$$$ year.

Building a real life version of this .... at least along the same lines. I've got the old truck ('59 International), the old gas pump, and the old signs. I just need the bait shop for beer, cards, and story-telling.

After my neighbor built his pond, my watershed needs some improvements to direct some additional water to the pond. Or my fall rains are going to have to come back to where they were before the fall of 2016 and 17. I need to terrace an area or get a big water pump to set on the bayou which has been low the last two falls. I used to always get rains in the last two weeks of Sept and additional rains in Oct. I would use those rains to start my fall wildlife food plots. In 2016 and 2017 I had to irrigate to get some food plots going in Oct. and I never used to have to do that. Last two years. no measurable rains until mid to late Dec.

No particular order to the plan, just needs to get done.

1. Finish developing 2018 tree planting plan, 250-300 trees total. Have trees ordered
by January 8, 2018.
2. Finish assembly of WWII Clark Airborne crawler restoring for a friend in Illinois.
3. Cut/split firewood.
4. Excavator work to dig out of goose hunting area in existing pond(burn brush pile first
from clearing). Leveling and planting of the same.
5. Install 80’ of new 12” culvert under land bridge.
A. Involves digging hatchery/forage pond.
6. Excavate improve Liberty Hill duck hunting hole.
7. Plumb in air compressor
8. Wire lathe, phase converter. Also install transfer switch for generator on maypole.
9. Research/purchase/install new airboat engine.

Thanks.
