I didn't see any postings on using these for structure, I have used full trees and limbs attached to pallets. They mke great long lasting structure.

I always thought those would make good, dense cover. But I don't have access to any..

Helgamity, I use them too. I haven't decided if the fish like them better than natural or not. But they do last!

Snrub, auctions or yard sales. I get them for 1.00 each in the off season.

I have a bunch of them in my pond. You can see fry swimming all around them all the time. Couple things I did...took about a 15 ft piece of 6 inch pvc pipe "4 inch should work". Drilled holes in it and stuck Christmas tree limbs in it so they all hang down. Placed two t-posts in the pond and wired this pipe horizontal between the 2 posts. It made a "hedge". Works great. Another trick if you find old artificial garland is drill holes in your pvc pipe and "stuff" the pipe with the garland and install where you can. I want my fry to have lots of places to hide.
