Not sure this is the right forum.

I have a leak in my pond dam that I keep chasing. It's a leak that follows some tree roots. I have dug it out and put down some bentonite. It held for a couple weeks then it found a new path out further from the bank.

My question is what is the proper way to take care of this?

I think I have the same problem, and been chasing it about three years. The solution is to completely dig out the roots and compact in new clay densely in the spot. Bentonite mixed with clay will work. Good luck finding a contractor to do it.

OK I figured that was the solution. I'm just going to rent a mini and do it myself. I need to cut down the 2 trees in question also. Thanks for the help.
