These fish were caught in a minnow trap at feeding time yesterday in around 10 minutes. My question is, are they bluegill, GSF, or is it too early to tell?

Connor - most of the fish in the 1st pic are GSF, one in 2nd pic is a BG or small RES and one in last pic is a GSF. For GSF this size,, look for a tiny light color margin on the edges/rim and back of their gill flap. In BG this size the flap will be all or wholly black no light border. Also I think their eyes are a little too big for a fish their size compared to my current GSF that size, so I think they are too abundant and starting to get stunted even at this small size.

Thank you for both identifying the fish and giving me the knowledge to start IDing them on my own!
