Thanks Bob-O. It was just a quick weekend get-away for a big birthday. I try to find small interesting destinations (which means small non-crazy airports) with direct flights from Dallas. I was surprised to see Savannah, Ga. has a direct jet flight daily on American Airlines. Savannah is a very cool little historical town with perfect weather this time of year.

Mark, we loved Savannah when we went.

yes Al....we want to go again sometime.
direct flight, no traffic, stress free airport, short TSA line, great food, and the history.

funny thing...we requested Lyft for a ride from the aiport.
we did not request any special vehicle

We ate at one waterfront restaurant that still had the old shanghai tunnels under it. You're right, lots of history there.
