I dont know if this is appropriate to post about, but there is a Knox County, IL Public Land Auction on July 31st. If anyone is looking for some really good hunting land (perhaps some of the best hunting land in Illinois) this would be the auction to go to.

Here is more info, pics, videos, etc about the land being auctioned off:

beautiful area; was one of the many zones we explored for rec property

should have picked that zone, we could of been neighbors.

You may want to reconsider that, n8ly. Brettski is full of stories that are mentally disturbing and leave deep emotional scars.

Me and rmedgar seemed to survive OK, but one story really put Fattay McB. over the edge. That's why we don't see him as much here on the forum.

The place must be under high fence.

no fence shall ever hinder infliction of mental cruelty

no fence physically or mentally. that is just how we grow deer up here. kinda like you guys grow bass down there.

Wow! That many quality bucks in that amount of land.

that amount of land is a huge parcel around these parts. most chunks of land around here are 40's and 80's. On a typical 40 acre parcel you have more than enough deer to fill your tags and you always have a shot at a good one at some point in the season.
