I don't know how Tom G faired but my place south east of Dawson looks to have gotten over 12" Wed. night/Thursday morning in this little dust up. I tried to get out there yesterday evening. I knew it wouldn't be good when I saw the helicopter surveying the damage. I got turned back by water crossing two of the roads in. Stopped dead on the third road which was cut in half where a 48" culvert washed out. That means at least two neighbors are stranded with no way out. One's on high ground and should be fine. The other is lower and I have some concern about their house.

It was very concentrated rainfall in a short amount of time. This is an unprecedented flood event.”
