I built one alot like that. It is basically a trapazoid with an open top and they climb up the side and fall right in. I caught 200+ in less than two weeks.

In order to trap turtles, You need a cooperative Rabbit 
I never trapped one. We always caught them by hand or net. That was a long time ago.
