i have a pond on my property that we measured it to be .32 acres. it is filled with stunted 2"-5" bluegill. I was thinking of making it a forage fish pond to supply my other ponds with forage and for my family and i to use as bait. im considering buying minnows from anderson what would be the best to buy. before i buy any minnows im going to use a casting net to take some BG out.

If it was mine, I'd use a mixture of GSH and FHM. No way would I use goldfish. GSH for larger fish, small GSH and FHM for crappie.

Goldfish are basically colored carp. I woldn't want to introduce them into any BOW.
If you're just going to use them as forage and bait, why stock minnows? They will eat the minnow fry and their own fry.
