I'm going to need a few feeders when we stock CBG in the fall. Any comments on these brands, or other suggestions, would be greatly appreciated. I've looked at past posts, but they generally digress into stories of freakishly huge BG ;\) ...

Dan,

I build my own fish feeders using parts from common deer feeders. I currently have 8 of these running. Will bring pictures to the Pond Boss meeting.

Formerly known as Stren (now called aquapro) has a new timer that is really nice. It monitors battery life and has adjustment for motor speed.

Greg,

Was the increase in functionality accompained by an increase in price? I'll probably get another one this fall.

ML no same price and same 4 yr warranty. What another feeder, I thought you would sell the ones you had with your experiment going? ;\) Let me know when ordering and I will see what kinda price I can get for you.

Greg,

Those HSB in my non-experimental pond eat a lot of food. \:\)

Trentmaker, I would be especially interested in the fish version of a "demand feeder" model ! I swear by them for deer, it saves me 50% on feed !

I have had several feeders in the past and my favoite is the new auger driven sweeny. I do wish that i had bought the largest model because the smaller model doesn't hold enough feed to last more than a week with two feedings a day.

Hey James and Fishman Dan,
We (Sweeney Feeders) will have a booth at the Texas Trophy Hunters Show this coming weekend in Fort Worth. If you need anything come by the booth and we will have some specials going on for orders at the show on both our directionals and our scatter feeders. We haven't decided the show specials yet but most of the time they are 10% off retail and 10% off retail sale prices, plus free shipping. Thanks, Billy

Billy,

Can't make your show, but would be interested in your pricing for a Sweeney. Please send a PM with any info. Thanks.

Lark, I tried sending you a PM but for some reason it wouldn't let it go through so here is you pricing.

Our 100 lb. directional feeder retails for $550.00 dollars and is currently on sale for 10% off which puts it at $495.00. If you look inside your last Pond Boss Mag. there is a coupon in our ad on page 4 which entitles you to another 10 % off that price which puts the price at $445.50. If you want the feeder in green then the retail is $600.00 and your price after the PB coupon would be $486.00. Call me here at the office (800-443-4244) and I will get you going or answer any questions you might have. Remember our products carry a three year UNCONDITIONAL WARRANTY. Thanks, Billy
