We are trying to flood an area on our property to hunt over. It is 100 acres and we want to put 18-24" of water on it. How do I figure total gallons need to fill this area?

Thanks

take 100 acres and multiply it by 18 inches of water which gives you a volume of about 49 million gallons where as 100 acres and 24 inches of water gives you about 65 million gallons of water. hope this helps.

One acre ft of water is 325,851 gallons. This is what is required to cover 1 acre 1 ft deep. Hope that helps.
