PS I used to fish Lake Champlain with my dad, way back before bass tournaments discovered it. Awesome place. Saw a huge hellbender in about 4 feet of water there, only one I've spotted in my life.

On national news last night they did say it was a trout but not what kind.I assumed they meant lake trout. Dang sure ain't a rainbow!! Hah!

Yes, sorry, I've always referred to them as Lakers.
Also, as I'm sure most have seen the article on this, it was stated by the gal that caught it that she thought this was from a previous injury.. I'm hoping we can all agree here that this is likely a genetic mutation of some sort.
