does anyone feed the ducks that come into your pond? We have some on the pond behind our home and I would like to set up a feeder of some sort? Any ideas?

Hi Tim,

I've seen duck feeders online but I don't know how well they work. Have you thought about planting some of their preferred forage plants like Sago, wild rice, duck potato, etc?

I have about fifty scaup ducks on my pond every winter. I don't use a feeder but every three or four days I throw corn into the shallow water along the bank. When there was above-water cover, a fer coots and gallinules were here but as the cover decreased, so did the appeal.
