I know some have lost a pond to drought, especially in central Texas. Rainfall has been spotty here for the last two years, with bad droughts the last two fall periods. After losing the pond, why did you even start over?

My dad lost 3 ponds to drought in the hill country. I think he is still struggling with restoration... it was such an emotional loss for him.

I think if a pond goes dry once it will again. I would make it bigger if possible , if not it doesn't take that much to get one stocked.
