I put a spare video camera on the dock near the Bug Light. These 2 videos are from last night.
Interesting that Carp and YP feed on insects on the surface that are whacked down by the bug light. There is a Beaver and a turtle as well as the LMB and BG that you would expect to be feeding.

That was RAD to see the beaver just come cruising through!!!
What is he doing there?? Not feeding on bugs, is he?
Heck, I thought that was Darlene the 10 pound bass.
Good vids, Dwight. What is the brand name of that bug whacker you have?
Awesome Vid Dwight, you can really see how important it is to have ambush positions for a bass to effectively hunt BG. So much energy was wasted by the bass. Good Stuff. The beaver is quite a fun surprise too.
Tried these links 2 days - keeps saying they have been withdraw ?
Must be a problem with my mac - don't know.
They sound interesting .
Finnfur I couldn't get it to open either, copy pasted the photobucket direct link into a post a previewed it. I showed me the video clips there. Dunno if it will help on your side.

I imagine the Beaver saw the light......
Beavers are herbivores so meat is not in their DNA.
The BO-JO Fishlight is the bug attracter/whacker. They are Pond Boss supporters.

I wonder how long one would have to watch the bug light cam before one of those large NP came through for a snack,(probably not a bug)?
Sunil, Looks like Dwight could use a shave and a haircut!
Well, we'll let him slide on the shave.
Now, I've found that longer hair coupled with a receding hairline is no-go for me. Dwight seems like he's pulling it off though.....
Beavers always do mess up things. Nice work Dwight !
Last night large LMB moved into the area. They were in ambush mode; hiding in the shadows. When a BG or other small fish moved in they were rapidly dispatched by one or more of the LMB. On average though, a pretty boring video with spurts of high drama. Even the turtle got whacked by an LMB though without damage.
I run these videos at high speed to scan them for interesting stuff (64x up to 256x real time).
You must have very fast eyes !!!!!
I bet the turtle was shocked and the bass had a sore nose.

Agreed on the sore nose and turtle shock.
Tonight big LMB were dominating the Bojozone again. Gail and I are going fishing today. We'll find out if they are active in the area during daylight. I expect that they are buried in cover during the day since their nights are so busy.
Forgot; sorry. We caught fish there on Friday and none there on Saturday. We caught some nice BG, BCP, and LMB on ultralights with 2 inch jigs on Saturday. No records broken, though.
Pretty cool video Dwight. I have a Bojo I'd like to monitor like that, too. Wonder what's going on out there all night...

As long as you have power and Internet service you can record and watch later or watch live; even at work.
I think I'd better call you to review...I like the idea of cameras at my place, even though I'm only 10 minutes away.

I'll have to un-block your number.
I'm in your backyard already, no need to go to all that effort.
Careful, the lasers are on heavy stun.
Great job on the Vids - the original links worked today ?? Thanks
Thanks for the warning, I'm currently lying paralyzed in the pumpkin patch. Please bring some water until my faculties are restored.
Oops, I missed that post. Hopefully you recovered.
Lapping dew from the zucchini leaves kept me alive, barely - no thanks to you.
Lapping dew from the zucchini leaves
That takes me back - a friend's basement, headphones, all the cool kids were doing it......that's how it always starts.
Next thing you know you're rolling corn silk and crushing dried watermelon blossoms. It's a terrible, horrible downward spiral.

Those statements created a couple of tear jerking pictures in my mind!! I imagine my girls are upstairs right now shaking their heads at my laughter..."Dad must be on one of his geek forums"
