Last year when I had more cages I simply ran another airline from my 1/4 hp. rotary vane compressor, which already had two airlines and diffusers centered in the .62 acre pond. I put the diffuser on the bottom between two large cages and it did a great job. The cages were attached to my pier in the deepest water of the pond. Don't put your diffuser under the cage however. That stresses the fish.

The thing to remember about regenerative blowers is they aren't usually designed for water over a few feet deep.

How big is your pond again?

I typed in rotary vane pump in my search bar and then went to Wikipedia Encyclopedia. It shows a real good picture of how a rotary vane pump works. We used to have 5 pumps and 8 diffusers working in our lake before the board of directors decided to turn them off. Dumb move.
