I have a few pellet trained bass in my pond. I caught a couple by accident...these little guys are about 7" long and look like they could stand to go on a diet. I swear I heard one weezing. The girth to length ratio is crazy and look like they waddle when they swim, kind of like a tadpole. They need to be on Finny Craig

keep them that way till they get 20 to 24 inches long and you have something. Keep up the good work.

It will be interesting to keep up with them as they grow.

Although the pelletized feed is supposed to be 100% nutritionally complete, I like the idea of turning it off for a couple of days per week so they can hustle some natural foods. I have no scientific background that qualifies me to say this but think that diet diversification is important to all predators. Of course, your fat boys may not be able to hustle enough to catch a BG. I doubt that they have a lot of experience with it.

I wonder what would happen to them if you quit feeding? Yeah, I'm a sicko.

Notice how Ewest is staying out of this thread.

Sounds like a case of plausible deniability to me.

Or perhaps just common sense.

I was never very good at either one so I'm not certain.
