Not sure if the picture loaded. But algae ID needed. When it is overcast, and cool, it is almost non existent. After a rain, none. Sunlight, it multiplies! I’ve seen it form. It looked like it was forming from the bottom of the pond.

If you can ID it, what are the causes? I recently died the pond Hopi g it would help. Has not helped.

I do aerate. (3) (2per stand@3 stands) 12” rubber cane diffusers. Around the clock aeration.

I can’t add a file. If I choose it from pic library it says it doesn’t have correct extension, if I take the pic it says it’s too big

Hoping maybe I can email someone the pics.

Use a pic hosting site and upload it there. Get a bunch of tilapia to take care of your algae.

Excellent idea, but unfortunately illegal to stock TP in Louisiana. Makes me glad my BOW is in Texas!

Can’t stock them in Missouri either. Makes no sense as they wouldn’t survive the winter.

It's good that they die in winter. You don't want them to procreate and multiply.

Absolutely! That’s why I think they should allow stocking. Everything else they’ve tried like that has blown up in their face with out of control growth.
