I received an email today from Southern States Cooperatives stating:

"We are pleased to announce that Southern States Cooperative, Inc. and Cargill Animal Nutrition have signed an agreement for Cargill to acquire the Southern States wholesale feed manufacturing business, access to Southern States’ feed brands and the feed ingredient trading business."

Don't know what it means to future quality of either brand, just thought that everyone should know....
