I'm convinced that the green plants play a huge part in water clarity of my BOW.
I have limed & treated with Gypsum, but if I had to nail down the biggest factor, I'd say plant growth.

Visability always goes way down in the winter. Took this video yesterday.
For my pond, this is excellent clarity.
