3/4 acre pond 13 ft deep steep banks. Thinking about planting lilies in pots on non swimming side! Trying to produce cover for fish . Pond is in mostly sunny and just filled this year.

We did this with hardy lilies about three years ago and I still have them in their pots. We used rubber maid totes so there is a good load of clay/mud. We added one evergreen tree fertilizer stick. We put in three totes and will get about 8X8 coverage in pads and lots of flowers in 8 feet of water.

Did they spread out good cover for fish?and they reached 8 ft in depth?
