Lake Background:

100 Acre Lake infested with Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM). Approximately 30 Acres are infested with this noxious weed. Unfortunately the EWM is not concentrated a 30 acre section of the lake. The main infestations are found within 100 feet of shoreline. The closer to shore the denser the weed. 30% of the shoreline has cattails. Other vegetations: EWM makes up 85% of our aquatic vegetation with 15% made up of blue green algae. There is no other aquatic vegetation to speak of. Deepest part of the lake is 16 feet. The majority of the lake is less than 8 feet deep. There are many fish ranging from Grass Carp, Channel Catfish, Wipers, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, and Sunfish. The lake also has a population of Weevils in hopes of controlling the EWM biologically. The Lake is used for recreational purposes (Swimming during the summer months, fishing, boating). Residence bordering the Lake use the lake for Lawn irrigation. The Dissolved Oxygen is good. Location of Lake: Littleton, Colorado

Any and all comments are appreciated. Past experience. What does not work. What works.

Thanks!
