This clip is from a drone and shows my water color, does it look like BG algae? I have noticed a lot of FA recently and I'm thinking of tryin out the phoslock. I put blue dye in the pond, but that was almost a year ago. All help appreciated. I'm afraid I have a high nutrient load from run off coming from fertilized lawns.

Should take another but of the pond and lower.

I expect its a good natural colour for the spring. Ours is a nice green and really cold.

Here is low flight over it, up til about a week ago it was frozen over. I'm just a little concerned about eating fish out of it Should it be BG algae.

If I am not mistaken the BGreen alga smells really bad.

What is kinda funny about that picture is it looks like a person spread eagle went through the ice head towards your dock.

No smell at all.

grin The hole in the ice is where the aerator is.

Todd, not much danger of eating fish if it were BG algae...the toxin it produces would kill the fish first....
