The HBG pond is ready for an application of Fluridone, which I have previously applied in the spring. However, as part of our winter procedure we always raise the water level about 10" in order to flood the concrete deck and help prevent damage. Since I will be closing off the lower spillpipe, now would be a great time to add the product as no water will be leaving unless a huge rain event occurs.

Will fluridone still be effective against pondweed this time of year?

Great timing. I need to have one more "spray day" before the nights start getting cool, and was wondering the same thing.

What specie of pondweed are you trying to kill?

Slender pondweed, Bill.
