One of my pond compressors was worn out and even after putting new parts in it, was not putting out much air. I sent it down to Tony's repair shop in Freedom, Indiana and he got the job done and in a reasonable amount of time. All I had to do was box it up and ship it down.

As we all know part of getting mechanical things fixed is finding someone you can trust, that won't hose you, and is competent. Tony came through with flying colors in both respects.

Tony you rock!

Cecil, I agree, I've taken/shipped a few things to him to get fixed.

Thank you Cecil, happy to help.

At various stages in my life, I have had the exceptional good fortune to become acquainted with talented individuals who exhibited that rare gift of being able to accomplish whatever they set their minds to. Guys who could do, and make, seemingly anything they wanted. And do it well, also.

Any modest ability that I may have, is due mostly to these guys influence. Sure, there was schooling, and classrooms, and theory. But these guys could walk the walk. And they let me walk along, even though my pace was considerably slower than their own.

All of those men are gone now, the last one having passed on a couple of years ago. But their influence is still felt every time I start a project. If you know someone who shows an interest in what you do, I would encourage you to invite them into your shop. Or let them tag along with you for a day. I know that times are different and we all have to be careful, but I think there's still room for a few more mentors in today's society.

Broken the seal - sending a ton of things your way for your magic touch. Thanks for the vine, forum!

Essup, I've found that it is good to move around a bit. Seems like it's easier to stay under the radar that way. I don't need those black helicopters and/or pointy tinfoil hats you folks talk about now and then.
Sparky, seems ta me like you and several others on this forum can "walk the walk". Actually probably run the run.
