I am new so I am probably asking something that has already been covered. I have looked over several of the posts where people have built their own aeration systems but I am in a situation where I can not. My husband is sick so I am in need of purchasing a system but hopefully not spending a ton of money. We purchased the place last year with about a 1 acre pond but I am not sure how deep it is.
Also, I am assuming from reading the posts that I need aeration. I noticed Friday that our pond probably turned over for I noticed a couple of dead fish floating and the water a milky/cloudy color. Today alot more dead fish floating.
Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

IMO first work on getting hubby healthy. Forget the fish for now. When he is feeling better, then both of you can look into getting advice for aeration for the pond. Hubby is much more important that a few easily replacable fish. Sometimes ponds are better after some significant fish mortality.
