Our fishing club uses two feeders twice daily and just yesterday I noticed several large grass carp feeding heavily on the fish food. We have a 10 acre lake and 100 carp were put in 2 years ago.

Is this a normal situation or should we remove some of them to lessen their impact on the fish food? We have a good mix of bream and largemouth and have seen much improvement in the size of our bass since implementing many of the ideas from this forum.

Thanks for any help!

Well yes, it is a normal situation. Removing them isn't always as easy as stocking them. Thy aren't the easiest fish to catch but a 22 shell seems to take care of them. If they are eating the pellets instead of doing their job, I would eliminate them.
