Pond Boss

New, just signed up today. Purchased my land just over a year ago. Had a pond of about 3/4's of an acre. After having the edges cleaned up pond is now just over an acre. Also had several large trees ( diameter of 15 to 20 inches ) removed from back side of dam. Tired to get all the roots out.

The back side of the dam has fallen. There is some water, not a lot, but clearly there is a small leak.

Any advise on how to fix correctly without draining pond?

Lonnie,

Welcome to the forum. This place has lots of great information, but you have to read for yourself and make up your own mind on what is the best course of action for you in your situation.

We have had some great discussions in the past couple of weeks on pond dam leaks. I would like to refer you to those discussions and then welcome you to ask any additional questions:

p.s. it would help if you could further elaborate on what you mean by the dam has fallen, i.e. it collapsed completely, or kind of sunk in possibly where you removed the tree roots, or other? I've had a similar situation and need more description from you.

p.s.s for some reason, operator error, the system won't let me post three url's at once...you may have to use the search function
