Several years. They’ve always just ignored them. I do have a few pics of the ribbons in the branches. But most are just in the leaves.
Put dense cover in water deep enough so it's covered by 18"-24" water for them to drape their skeins on/over. Without that you will need to periodically re-stock YP.
