could you pls tell me rule of thumb for pounds of fish per gallons of water.and at what ratio herbivores:carnivorous fish

Depends on your goals. Aquaculture can often grow as much as 10,000 pounds per acre of water, average depth four feet. Sportfish ponds can grow around 1,000, combined species.
