Before I remove them I just want to make sure I should. The pond is half acre with Zero vegitation. I am trying to get some vegigitation started. It has 4 large grass carp in it. It also has some koi in it..It had lots but now maybe 15-20 thanks to the oprey. Koi are staying.....

I am trying to get eel grass and lily pads started , using cages to protect to start out with.

QUESTION IS , should I remove half the Grass Carp????????...

I'd remove them all, you can always add them later. Just a couple are easy to source and not a big cost. Once you establish the vegetation you want, you can consider adding more GC if you begin to have vegetation issues again.

OK, Thanks, I can Ill just move them to the pond next door that does have issues, I can then either get new ones or put one or two back...

PS, giving this years Blue gill spawn some time to develope and then I will start ading the euryhaline fish as predators ( Mangrove snapper, flounder, red drum, snook, tarpon)
I am having a hard time waiting to go ahead and add some larger fish...

I would definitely take out many of the HBG you catch while trying to remove the GC with Stubby Steve's as well. You need to take them out to make room for the other predators.
