I have a bit over 1/2 acre 10' deep pond in Houston Texas with a gast rotary vain and a vortex double diffuser going. About once a month I will find a floater!!! usually a single 5-7" bluegill but I have lost one young bass probably 7" long. its always just one fish. i'd imagine this is normal but don't really know. anyone have and ideas?

i see a single floater every once in a while. a few weeks ago i lost 8-10 in one day. on and off over the week i would see 4 or 5 dead at a time. hard for me to know how many since turtles and eagles were cleaning them up.
i think that 1 floater every once in a while is just to be expected.

In south Texas I've had two single floaters in the last week. I attribute to a rolling spawn, The continuous harassment by the YOY and the hot water. Just guessing
