I dont know they got in there because my boss has swans but I have caught and removed 3 GSF but have also caught some sort a hybrid it has the body shape of a blue gill mouth of a BG but colors of GSF without the electric color on the check i did through them back as i have only caught 2 in three years if anybody has pictures of what i am talking about please post them thanks

No green sun fish have these electric blue/green line on the gills and this hybrid doesn't have this its really wired if I catch any through the ice I will try to post a picture right now I got to turn up the aerator so I know where there is safe ice and dangerous ice hope they move out deeper cause I have been catching them in 3 feet of water with crappie jigs and little nipper jigs

Hybrid sunfish (lepomis)) can have many , many looks. Very hard to be sure on looks alone and other traits should be examined. Pics will help a lot and allow some review of traits in addition to looks.
