Which anode array is most effective: A ring-shaped array or a perpendicular-linear array (T-shaped)?

I plan to either use a two-boom system w/ two spherical arrays or a one-boom system with one perpendicular-linear array. Which one would be most effective? Thanks.

SOmeone (Bob) please answer this. I have baot now with 2 "wisconsin rings" but just setup second boat with one array across front of boat. listo I will tell you my opinion in about 2 weeks when we start shocking.

We've used both, and currently are sticking to the circular...wisconsin ring type of array. The wisconsin ring allows room for more droppers and for current to be more evenly distributed. Assuming you have a shocking system capable of significant amperage in soft water then the wisconsin ring is the way to go.

If you don't have the voltage to get good amperage in soft water then the linear array may be more effective.

I've got a book on it, a big book, which encouraged me to go with the ring style.

I can provide pics if anyone would like to see the setup. It is quote nice.

getting frustrated. Not being mechanicial hurts me here, the boat has yet to go in the water. I have a 45 acre lake next week and want to use the new bigger boat, we will see and post results if it worksout.
