Over the last few years, I have added 1 - 3lbs. of crawfish per acre to my pond. None this year, but will soon. However, about 20% of all bass fileted have a crawfish in their stomach. I work in the Dallas area and I have found a place that gets fresh crawfish every week and sells them at a very good price .99 - 1.49 depending on the market. The place is Fiesta Market on lower Greenville Ave. ph.# 214-887-3000.
If you need some and you live in the Dallas,Tx area then you might give this place a try.

Thanks David, I'm in the Dallas area and have been looking for a local source ! Hopefully I can get them to "take". I read Dave's horror story about his coon feast...any suggestions ?

Oh' yes, my first attempts were coon feast.
We would buy 100lbs. Have some friends over. Boil some drink too many beers and then turn the rest loose all in one or two spots about dark. Next morning, nothing but dead bodies everywhere. I started using a little common sense and drinking a little less beer and now I buy my crawfish in the A.M. or around noon. I take them out in the flat bottom boat and I release them in and around vegetation (2'-6' deep water). Like cattails, and other shore line veg. This gives them some instant cover from fish and plenty of daylight to get comfortable before the coons come out after dark. Wear thick leather gloves when handling the crawfish.

Eastland, I called Fiesta Market this morning. They have two bags on hand @ .99/lb and a truck load coming in Friday @ noon.
