Looking to stock my small pond with some rainbows this winter and was curious if anyone knows of a hatchery or stocking service close by, possibly even in New Mexico.
I stocked them years ago through Overton and was really impressed with them but it's a long drive and it took a couple trips last time keeping the trout alive that long on my own. If they get some in I will probably make the trip regardless but wanted to see if there were any closer options that might deliver.
Appreciate your time

Not sure if this would work but maybe something to check out. The State is stocking some trout this winter in various ponds for fishing. Maybe you could pick a city close to where you are, contact that Fishery and see if they would deliver when in your area? http://tpwd.texas.gov/fishboat/fish/mana...rce=govdeliveryContact information is at the bottom of the page.

Yeah, they stock 2 of the local ponds here next Monday. The PK hatchery would not stock my pond though. Appreciate the help though, going to keep looking around.
Thanks
