Is this bad if I am going to move fish from one small pond in a neighbor hood to another larger pond close by?
If i do go through with this plan - I would like to load up on small bluegills and small bass or should I wait to the fall to get the bass?
Should I buy minnows now and get them into the pond first? That seems to be the conscientious from the few post that I read on here.
Most of the smaller ponds are loaded with small bluegill. The pond in my new neighbor hood is approx 7 acres.

It depends. 1)Do you own or have control of the ponds in question? 2)Can you positively identify the different species of sunfish 100% of the time? 3)Are there any invasive species (plants) or trash fish in the doner pond? 4)If so, how will you keep from transferring the invasive plants or trash fish? 5)Are there any parasites in the doner pond that aren't already in the "to be bucket stocked" pond?
What's in the larger pond (fish wise)?
