Which sex usually attains a larger size, the female Black Crappie or the male Black Crappie? Is there even really a difference? I know with some fish/animal species that one of the sexes can attain a much larger size than the other. I am looking at raising a single crappie in a large home aquarium.

The females will grow to a larger size, what are you planning on feeding it ? minnows ?
