King Fisher
RING NECK KING FISHER: These birds are as angry as they look. When ever I go to the pond and one of these guys is around they fly around scolding and raising hellish chatter,,,letting you know you are an intruder. By the way, I can never get close to these guys,,,this photo was taken 200 feet away with this cheap but great camera Canon SX-50. Then filtered through Windows 10, then filtered through Facebook.

Great picture John! I have the Canon SX40 and love it, never saw any advantages of the SX50 that made it worth the upgrade. I don't know anything about filters but just love the Canon camera with its superzoom and good image stabilization and not a lot of noise even at high zoom or in low light conditions.

These guys are a BEAR to get a good picture of, touchy little buggers. Great shot!
I keep thinking I should get an inexpensive super zoom to compliment my Panasonic exchangeable lens camera. The whole super zoom camera costs less than a decent zoom lens for my micro 4/3.
